IXEL MeshAvailable
Every device, one private network.
IXEL Mesh is part of IXEL One. Install IXEL One on a laptop, a desktop, a GPU server or a cloud machine and it joins your mesh. Devices find each other and connect directly, through firewalls and NAT, with nothing to open or configure.

Features
Everything a private network should do.
Access rules
Decide which people and devices can reach which machines and ports, from a simple personal mesh to rules for a whole company.
Names that just work
Reach devices by name instead of address, on every device in your mesh.
Sharing
Give a friend or a colleague access to one machine without letting them into the rest of your network.
Teams and SSO
Bring your users and groups, sign in with your identity provider and keep an audit log of changes.
Self-hosted relays
For networks that block direct connections, run a relay on your own server so traffic stays on your infrastructure.
The IXEL backbone
IXEL Harness, Remote, Public Cloud and Private Cloud connect over Mesh, so your agents and machines can reach each other securely by default.
How it works
We do the handshake. You keep the traffic.
A small coordination service tells your devices about each other and who may connect. After that, every byte goes straight from one device to another, encrypted with keys that never leave them.
End-to-end encrypted.
Each device has its own key pair. IXEL shares public keys only and can’t read your traffic.
Works across networks.
Home, office, data centre or a phone on mobile data: devices reach each other as if they shared one network.
Nothing to configure.
No ports to open and no VPN server to run. Sign in on a device and it’s part of your mesh.
Your devices, by name.
Every device gets a name. Use it anywhere you’d type an address.
Questions and answers.
Does my traffic go through IXEL?
No. IXEL runs the coordination service: it checks who you are, shares device keys, helps devices find each other and applies your access rules. The connections themselves are made directly between your devices and encrypted end to end.
What if two devices can't reach each other directly?
Most devices can connect directly, even behind home routers and NAT. When a network blocks that, traffic can be relayed through another device in your own mesh or a relay you run yourself, so it still never passes through IXEL.
Is IXEL Mesh free?
Yes: the Free plan connects up to 5 of your devices. Paid plans will add more devices, sharing, teams, single sign-on, policy and support.
Which devices does it run on?
IXEL One runs on macOS, Windows and Linux today, on laptops, desktops, servers and cloud machines. Apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are coming soon.
Can I try it now?
Yes. Download IXEL One, sign in with your IXEL account and approve the device. The documentation covers the rest.
